One of the first showings of The GodMan
in Brazil was in an open-air setting at a soccer field one evening.
Ivomar, a boy of ten, and two of his friends attended, and they were
mesmerized by the movie.
To make The GodMan more accessible to children, a character has been added to the story: a young boy named Caleb, who has the chance to meet Jesus, and by the end of the film, Caleb will have witnessed the execution and resurrection of Jesus, and will choose to follow the Savior, as a friend of Jesus.
When Ivomar saw the movie, he was very impressed with what Jesus had done for him, and he told his friends, "I want to be like Caleb. I want to be a friend of Jesus."
A Christian couple in the crowd heard his words and offered to pray with Ivomar so he could believe on Christ for salvation! That very night, Ivomar chose to follow Jesus.
